The aim of the article is to highlight European Union (EU) Health Policy development processes in the context of the EU Health Policy legislation and EU Health Policy implementation institutions.
The article covers and discusses Health Policy rudiments of the European Economic Community Treaty (EEC) and further EEC Health Policy development process in the provisions of the Single Europe Act (1987).
The article discusses the EU Health and Consumer protection policy evolution from the EU Treaty (Maastricht) provisions and in coclusion in the provisions of the Consolidated versions of the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (Lisbon). The article also disscusses some of the European Parliament and the Council legislation acts concerning EU Health and Consumer policy implementation and EU Commitology.
