Abstract

The article analyses the changing role of innovations in the performance of public administration organizations. It is reflected in the identification of the absorptive capacity’s role in the processes of innovation creation and exploitation and the determination of public organizations’ role in the management of innovative processes. During the research the initial idea, that the public administration organizations should be actively involved in the processes of creation of innovation, provision of facilities and constant consolidation was substantiated, because innovations are increasingly making an impact on public organizations’ performance through global channels of information and knowledge.
