Risk Management in the Public Sector Innovation Processes

Innovation design and implementation become one of the essential conditions for the modernisation of public governance. Effective risk management is one of the factors for the successful innovation processes. The authors, based on scientific literature meta-analysis, interpretation, theoretical modelling, analogue, classification, public administration procedural characteristics, comparative analysis and other research methods, seek to reveal the theoretical aspects of innovation risk management. The article analyses the aspects of strategy development of innovation risk management, the role of public sector personnel and intersectoral integration in risk management, and describes the public governance innovation testing as one of the risk factors.
