Grutas park Tour

The collection of the museum consists of monumental sculptures and bas-reliefs of "heroes" of the Soviet period symbolizing brutality and absurdity of the Soviet system and occupation, reflects manipulation of the facts of history and shows the distorted memory of the history. Monumental sculptures and bas-reliefs displayed were erected in majority of Lithuanian cities and towns during the Soviet period. Monumental sculptures are positioned in a 2 km long exposition. On way back we‘ll visit a spa town Druskininkai. Distance from Vilnius -120 km.

Tour duration 7 hours:
Vilnius – Grutas park (about 1h 45 min.)
Grutas park Museum (about 2 h)
Lunch in Druskininkai and free time (about 1,5 h.)
Druskininkai – Vilnius (about 1.h 45 min.)
